Itinerary

Day 01 :
Aurangabad Arrival and Ajanta Caves-Local Sightseeing

Arrival in Aurangabad, a city steeped in history and culture. Check-in to your Aurangabad hotel and relax. And then Proceed for to the Ajanta Caves. These caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and are famous for their rock-cut cave temples and monasteries, which are considered a masterpiece of ancient Indian art and architecture. You will be awestruck by the intricate carvings and paintings that adorn the walls of these caves, depicting scenes from the life of Buddha and other ancient tales. (Please note that the Ajanta Caves are closed on Mondays) Later return back to Aurangabad city where we will visit to the Mini Taj Mahal, a replica of the famous Taj Mahal in Agra. The Mini Taj Mahal, also known as the BibiKa Maqbara, is a magnificent tomb built by Aurangzeb in memory of his wife. After exploring these ancient wonders, get relaxed at hotel in Aurangabad, overnight stay.

Day 02 :
Sightseeing of Grishneshwar-Ellora-Daulatabad Fort

Early morning post breakfast proceeds to Grishneshwar Joyotirlinga. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India. Also known as Ghrishneshwar or Dhushmeshwar Temple, this Jyotirlinga in Aurangabad is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered an important pilgrimage site. Grishneshwar is the smallest of the Jyotirlingas and is considered the last or the 12th Jyotirlinga of India. Later proceed to visit the famous Ellora caves. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site built of red rocks. You can see here Lord Vishnu`s Ten Avatar carved in red stone. The Ellora Caves not only bear witness to three great religions (Buddhism, Brahminism and Jainism) but they also illustrate the spirit of tolerance, characteristic of ancient India, which permitted these three religions to establish their sanctuaries and their communities in a single place. After the blissful temple tour you will proceed for evening sightseeing Daulatabad Fort (Devgiri Killa), Bhadra Maruti Temple & shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03 :
Aurangabad to Nashik & Nashik Local Sightseeing

After a breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to Nashik. This city has a rich historical and cultural heritage, having been a major center of learning and spiritualism for centuries. Nashik is also one of the four cities in India where the Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years, attracting millions of devotees from all over the world. You will visit Panchavati, a sacred place associated with Lord Ram and his wife Sita, where they lived during their exile in the forests. The area is also home to several important shrines and temples like Ramkund, Kapaleshwar Temple, Kalaram Mandir, Sita Gupha Tapovan, Muktidham temple and Swaminarayan temple, there after you will transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Nashik.

Visit Trimbakeshwar & Nashik Departure
