Itinerary
On your arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, you will be taken for a 35-minute drive through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge which connects the banks of the Jhelum River, check in to your hotel, and relax. Later, you can take a short drive around the Dal Lake. Do a Shikara ride at Dal Lake and overnight stay at the Srinagar Hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sonmarg, which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonmarg is at 98 km from Srinagar, and it will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you notice will be the snow-covered mountains that form the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has a few of the loveliest flower collections in Jammu and Kashmir. Activities/ Sightseeing at Sonmarg You may take a pony ride (at your own expense) to Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains almost round the year. You may also hire a Union Taxi (Direct Cost) and visit Zero Point, Zojila Pass, and Fish Pond. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Post breakfast, check out the Hotel and drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is known as the Snow Paradise in winter and the Meadow of Flowers in the summer season, with beautiful flowers like daisies and bluebells. Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam is probably the most popular hill resort in the Kashmir valley. Pahalgam is situated at the junction of the Aru and Sheshnag Rivers and surrounded by soaring, fir-covered mountains with bare, snow-capped peaks rising behind them. There are many interesting tourist destinations around Pahalgam. Amongst them are the surging pastures of Baisaran valley, also known as mini Switzerland on ponies, and later you will explore Betaab valley and Chandanwari and Snow-covered Aru valley and Mamlashwar Temple, and Pahalgam Golf Course you can feed your camera with majestic beauty. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, explore more of Pahalgam, then further visit Srinagar spend your evenings on the banks of Dal Lake with night stay in Houseboat.
