Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrive Raipur - Barnavapara - Sirpur (180 Kms/ 04 Hrs)

On arriving at Raipur airport/ Railway station, meet our representative/driver & leave for Barnavapara. Enjoy the Jungle Safari. Later, drive to Sirpur. On arrival, check into the hotel and have a comfortable stay at Sirpur.

Day 02 :
Sirpur - Gangrel (170 Kms/ 04 Hrs)

After breakfast, visit Sirpur sightseeing. The small village of Sirpur in present-day Chhattisgarh was an important center of Buddhist learning from the 6th to the 10th centuries. Known as Shripur in ancient times, the site was dotted with 100 ancient Hindu Temples and 100 Buddhist Viharas or monasteries. After recent excavations, the village unearthed a treasure trove of riches, including beautiful and intricate statues, pillars, pottery, coins, viharas, and a complete marketplace. The ruins of predominant Buddhist monasteries at Sirpur include Anand Prabhu Kudi Vihar and Swastik Vihar. The major highlight of Anand Prabhu Kudi Vihar is the six-foot-tall statue of Buddha touching the earth installed inside the complex. The recently excavated Swastik Vihar was a meditation and study complex used by Buddhists. According to the accounts of the Chinese traveller and Buddhist monk, Hiuen Tsang, thousands of students came to Sirpur to study Buddhism. Later, proceed to Gangrel. On your way to this beautiful destination known for Gangrel Dam, visit the famous Buddhist site of Sirpur. Enjoy the glimpse of beautiful surroundings en route. Day 03 :
Gangrel - Chitrakote (220 Kms/ 05 Hrs)

After morning breakfast, leave for Chirakote /Jagdalpur. On your way to this beautiful destination, you can enjoy a picnic lunch at any of the restaurants. Enjoy the glimpse of beautiful surroundings en route. Jagdalpur is a destination that will make you explore the beauty of the unique tribal villages and captivating wildlife of Chhattisgarh. On arrival, check in to the resort and have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 04 :
Chitrakote-Jagdalpur (145 Kms/ 01 Hr)

Munch a yummy breakfast in the morning and then leave for the next famous attraction of the place, Kanger Valley National Park. The Kanger National Park is known for its unique wildlife and beautiful surroundings. It is considered the finest of all virgin forest areas on earth. The park also has large deposits of limestone, which are present in the form of caves. On your visit to this national park, do pay a visit to the limestone caves, which are famous for the beautiful formations of stalactite and stalagmite. To add more fun to your tour, you can enjoy a picnic lunch near the Tiratgarh Falls, which is a famous tourist attraction. Enjoy some great time with your family and friends while enjoying breathtaking views of the surroundings.

Day 05 :
Jagdalpur

After you have your breakfast, go sightseeing at the famous attractions of the place. The Kanger National Park is known for its unique wildlife and beautiful surroundings. It is considered the finest of all virgin forest areas on earth. The park also has large deposits of limestone, which are present in the form of caves. On your visit to this national park, do pay a visit to the limestone caves, which are famous for the beautiful formations of stalactite and stalagmite. To add more fun to your tour, you can enjoy a picnic lunch near the Tiratgarh Falls, which is a famous tourist attraction. Enjoy some great time with your family and friends while enjoying breathtaking views of the surroundings. Later, after lunch, proceed to visit the Chitrakoot Falls, which are well-known as the ‘Niagara Falls of India’. Here, enjoy the beauty of these waterfalls and take back a memorable experience of this alluring place. After sightseeing, head back to Jagdalpur. En route, visit the famous Anthropological Museum, which is known to present an interesting insight into Bastar’s tribal culture. Later half of the evening is free to explore the local shops where you can buy some terracotta handicrafts. On reaching the hotel, have your dinner and stay overnight.

Day 06 :
Jagdalpur - Raipur (300 Kms/ 06 Hrs)

After having your breakfast, leave back for Raipur by road. On arrival in Raipur, you may opt to drop directly at the Hotel for an overnight stay. Evening is free for leisure.

Departure - Raipur
